Shoplifter Arrested in Nuneaton Town Centre He thought he’d bag himself dinner for the dog and a fresh load of laundry… but instead he ended up with a pair of handcuffs.
A shoplifter in Nuneaton town centre was arrested this afternoon after stealing dog food from Pets at Home and laundry goods along with some coffee from B&M.
Luckily, Op Resolve Officers were out on foot patrol at just the right time and in just the right place — spotting him outside B&M before he could make a clean getaway. The male was arrested and has had the pleasure of spending the rest of the day in one of our custody cells.
He’s now been charged and remanded — swapping the shopping aisles for a custody cell, and tomorrow he’ll be appearing before the court instead of the checkout.
